God Doesn’t Have Call Waiting
God doesn’t have call waiting.
Reason enough to praise the Lord.
There are no operators.
He answers His own calls.
There is no beeper number,
No answering machine.
There are no posted hours,
For you to call between.
There are no lines to wait in,
No secretaries screening calls.
If you come in person, just
Knock you’ll find the door open;
It was never was it locked!
Boldly you’re to enter,
Walk straight up to the throne.
No matter the time of day or night
The Lord is always home.
