Rejoice in hope and patience in tribulation,
Praying continually without any hesitation;
Be hospitable to the saints for their needs,
You will be surely blessed for your deeds;
Bless those persecuting you and curse not,
Show them how as Christian should ought;
Rejoice with those who rejoice in delight,
Weep with ones who weep feeling contrite;
Be of the same mind one towards another,
Be a model to get along with each other.
A model Christian is one, setting his pace,
In accordance to God and His good grace;
He looks towards hope of a better future,
As he looks for answers in a Scripture;
He is praying to God both night and day,
Hearing the responses that he will obey.
Thinks not revenge turns the other cheek,
Rather prays to remain humble and meek;
Since Jesus was sacrificed for you and me,
A model Christian is why all should be.
