Since we are now living in the new testament times we tend to neglect the old but the old testament is important.It's important because the old testament is the foundation for the new. This article explains the little differences between the old testament vs new testament.



The old testament reveals the messiah and the reason f his coming is also. We would not know his birthplace ( Micah 5:2), we will not know of his resurrection ( Psalms 16:10), and we will not know the details of his ministry (Isaiah 52). The old testament prepares others for the first coming of christ (1 John 2:2), In the old testament there are many prophecies but they are not fulfilled until the new testament.




The New Testament prepares us for the coming of christ. It prepares us for the second coming. The New Testament gives the prophecies of the old a stage to manifest in the open. As it prepares us it also shares the life of JESUS and explains how we shall respond to his gifts (Romans 12). In the book of HEBREWS it reveals how JESUS CHRIST is the high priest.



There are many differences between the two but the two have one thing in common and that is found in(Hebrews 13:8). Both of them promote the value of holiness and righteousness and shows us all why we shall live the way GOD wants us to ( 2 timothy 3:15-17). Both show that JESUS CHRIST is the only way to the father.
