With disdain, a king banishes a worthless subject from the kingdom borders.
“Away with you! Never show your face here again!”
Christians live in the kingdom of light. We are a royal priesthood. The King of Kings has given us authority over unrighteousness and darkness.
I banish fear.
“Away with you! Never invade my space again!”
Fear is an enemy, which I conquer and banish.
“THE LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread (Psalms 27:1 NAS)?”
King David relied upon his Lord.
“I sought the LORD, and He answered me.
And delivered me from all my fears (Psalms 34:4 NAS).”
