I did not sleep again last night, it has been seven years since I've lived in fear and I want it all to disappear.
Lord, “they” are crawling on me everywhere; I was not prepared for this nightmare.
I don't understand Lord I need answers today; you know how much I have cried and prayed?
I asked you not to let me stray, I feel as though you have gone away, and I cannot live my life this way, nor can I bear another day.
I have pleaded and begged, I meant every word, yet I am not sure if you ever heard.
Every day is such a dread I wonder if I am better off dead?
The things that are happening I have no control, they are stealing my life Lord but they can't take my soul.
It does not matter Lord where I go, they follow me there in my despair in hopes of catching me in their snare.
I call out your name, you use to answer, but now you seem so far away;I pray and pray, I pray every day, I pray in your name, but it is still the same.
There is not only one Lord, or two or three; I know there are more tormenting me.
I hear them Lord,I see them too, what am I suppose to do?
I did not sleep again last night, oh God help me win this fight.
My head hurts, my eyes are sore, my bodies weak I can barely speak; will it always be this way, please God make them go away?
The thoughts I am thinking cannot be mine; please Lord Help me get rid of this grime.
What can I do I can't take anymore, what did I do to open this door?
This is real it is not a dream, I cannot escape this satanic scheme.
I see “their” shadows everywhere; I close my eyes and they're still there, watching me with this immoral glare.
Oh God I am pleading day and night, I have lost my strength and I am losing this fight.
I am so weak Lord I hardly sleep, I know you promised to protect your sheep; you promised to give no more than I can bear, but this nightmare seems to be unfair.
Please God help me! How can this be? They are trying to take my life from me.
I cannot do this on my own, I need you Lord I am all alone.
Where do I belong? Where can I go? I cannot hide from Satan’s continuous flow.
I did not sleep again last night; please give me peace Lord, to sleep tonight.
Who is this person I thought I knew, thinking such things I would never do; I hate what I'm thinking, yet they won't leave, I don't know what I am supposed to believe?
I watch things move when I lie in bed, I sleep with the sheets over my head; it does not help in any way, please God make them stay away.
Is this how my life will remain? I would rather be dead than to be enchained!
Who am I? What did I do? I need you Lord to get me through.
It is impossible for me to take much more; they're so close I hear them roar.
You said you would save me from the fowler’s snare, how much more must I bear?
When I see the sun shine in the day, to me it still looks dark and grey, I cry out to you and pray, Lord get me through another day.
Is there even any hope because I cannot live like this and cope?
Lord, “they” are violating me day and night; there is something wrong this is not right!
I cannot die yet, I know their real, I want out of this raw deal.
I did not sleep again last night, I lied there holding my sheets so tight, wondering when I would see the light, and praying so hard for you to hold me tight.
All though I pleaded for your will I did not expect to be Satan’s meal.
How could this be am I living a lie? If that is the case then I want to die.
They grind their teeth they hiss at me, they walk around they will not flee, I am asking you Lord, please hear my plea and stop them from tormenting me?
There is no doctor there is no pill, I am not sick Lord this is real.
I think of what, tomorrow might be, with all these fears inside of me, on my knees I cry to thee; please Lord Come and rescue me.
Lord, am I where I was before, when I slipped and fell through Satan’s trap door?
I would have never walked away if I knew this warfare was here to stay.
I do not hate the one you made but Lord I hate that I disobeyed.
Do with me what you want to do, but please Lord let me be true to you; I need your strength to get me through.
How do you tell such things as these, If only those would listen and believe when told of the things I have seen?
It is I, I heard you say; they cannot not take your life away.
I am here all the time I have not left you, you are mine.
You asked me what you could do, I knew your heart was true; I held your hand and pulled you through, I never once left you.
Do not forget that the angel of light, prowls around day and night, looking with all his might, in search of souls for his delight.
One day they will see if they only gave their lives to me, they would live throughout eternity.
I knew how much you could bear; I had to teach you how to care for those living in the same warfare.
I know I seem so far away but you are my child and I am here to stay.
When things seem so dark and blue never forget I am holding you.
I promised I would never leave, this battle is won just believe.
It is written it is done, it is finished, this battle is won; all of these things I have done.
