Living as a Christian, we go to church when we are supposed to, we pray daily and read the bible and we even help out in the church, so it should be okay with God to have a little bit of fun in the world even thought its not pleasing to God, right?? Like the ‘ole saying goes, “a dab ‘ll do ya”….. think that pertains to God too?

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” -Matthew 6:24

Hmmmm, according to this scripture, “a dab ‘ll do ya” doesn’t fly with God at all. And don’t be fooled into thinking this scripture doesn’t apply to living just a little bit in worldly ways because it most certainly does apply. Anything not pleasing to God is worldly. The serving of two masters is occurring when worldly things are done at the same time of serving God. Unpleasant worldly things are satan’s way and when you do those things, you are falling to satan’s call and serving him. God does not look kindly to this way of living and be well assured that God knows everything you do. “A dab ‘ll do ya” is nothing but living a lukewarm life and will not be accepted by God. And it is very unpleasant to God when He has given this knowledge to His flock, yet they ignore it and dab into the world anyway. How can I make such a claim? Right here:

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” =Revelation 3:15-16

God is waiting for you to call to Him and repent this way of living so that you can have eternal life with Him and find peace inside. The Lord loves you greatly and has His Arms opened now and will give you the power to fight the seductions of this world and cling only to Him. Remember, its your spiritual life that’s on the line. Are those things of the world worth living or dying for?
