It Is Written

My appearance you may see but undependable the appearance can be.
What he thought it looked like, it was not so for the outside can one make up.
When my looks became his thoughts of me never amounting to anything, I became more unexpectantly.
The one most high, I put as my first priority, then anything was workable.
In the Good Book, it is written.

The stones, he tossed my way as failures.
Cast down and stepped on, he did it all never to look at his own failures in life.
My shortcomings, it was that he used as entertainment for any critics and faultfinders.
What he didn’t know was my failures strengthened me for I use my failures as an educated experience never to repeat again.
I may fall but surely I will rise again.
In the Good Book, it is written.

A lie used to hinder me and a ditch build for me to tumble in.
I was too close to my promotion and for me, he desired a demotion so my name it was he decided to destroy.
To steal, kill, and destroy, the devil’s objective is.
My promotion it was, he wanted to steal and it was me, he wanted to kill.
Though my reputation on earth would never balance with how the one who gives me strength feels about me, it was that he failed to learn.
In the Good Book, it is written.
