Hearing The Voice Of GOD (Series), Part 1: Holiness

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord - Hebrews 12:14
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy - 1 Peter 1:15-16

Sermon:
Holiness is a primary requirement for every Christian that desires to be hearing from GOD regularly. 1 Peter 1:15-16 says, But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy - 1 Peter 1:15-16. Perhaps you feel it is not possible. I want you to know it is possible. If it were not possible, God wouldn't have asked for it.

Holiness is also GOD's requirement for anyone who desires to see the LORD. Hebrews 12:14 says, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord". So in other words, if you desire an intimate walk with GOD that would involve you seeing the visions of GOD and also hearing his voice, you must be holy.

From Isaiah 59:2, we clearly see that sin can hinder and separate a man from GOD. Sin is Satan's nature. He sinned and was thrown out of heaven. Sin can end your relationship with GOD.

As a Christian, you must sanctify yourself and consecrate your body to the LORD and be open to the voice of the LORD.
The Holy Spirit is holy and does not like sin. So you must stay away from sin and keep the presence of GOD in your life by staying clean.
