‘A Glimpse of Heaven’!

I’m walking on a sea of crystal, light as a feather, going where the wind takes me.
There are no lights; no sun, moon or stars, yet it is bright, like a many faceted diamond flashing and sparkling, giving light and radiance all around.
Jewels of every colour and hue shine brighter than the sun, lighting my path.
All senses heightened! The sense of smell - the perfume of a rose, heady, permeating my heart and enveloping me in an aroma of sweetness and love.

There was nothing to touch, yet I touched; softer than velvet or the fur of a kitten, like touching the mist.
Music, the sound of whale song from the depths of the sea, pulling my soul onwards towards the greater light. I’m singing, heart, soul and spirit perfectly in tune, pure as the air on top of a mountain. It melts me, like sunshine on freshly fallen snow.

I feel new, light, nothing hinders. The music calls and my soul responds, deep worship from somewhere my heart has never been before. Spirit calling to spirit.
I am one, as yet apart, but drawn as iron filings to a magnet.
I can see the multitude, the throng. Excitement rises within me, trepidation, reverent fear! Moving on, coming even closer to the light. The rainbow. Music, increasingly haunting, increasingly glorious.
I’m conscious of my own voice singing, not yet in unison, but beginning to blend. Heart, soul and spirit fusing together, overwhelmingly worshipful.
Closer to the multitude - He is there. Awesomeness, splendour.
His face - compassion, love, mercy and grace making up the features. Drawing me.
I’m blending with the music, my soul and spirit now together.
I’m still one!
Passing through the membrane I’m back in the womb, no longer one, part of the whole.
A soul arriving home.
A rapturous moment.
