Recently I read through he book of Daniel and I jotted down some amazing characteristics of Daniel and I would love to share with you guys so read and be blessed.
Dan 1:8-Daniel was determined not to defile himself, he purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the kings meal*Holiness is a conscious effort work towards it we have a part to play*
Dan 2:17- His first resort was prayer as a teen he acknowledged God first that tells me that when i have a problem the first person I should tell it to is my father and not tweet or facebook my problem as if there’s where God is. His secret of excellence was that he had a constant prayer life he made time to talk to God everyday he prayed 3 times a day, he was worthy of singing the song *I am a friend of God he calls me friend* he always made out time to talk to his friend no matter how busy the day was
Dan 2:27-He acknowledged God giving all him the glory and credit for what he did through, a good way to die to selfDan 2:27-He was humble
Daniel is an individual every youth in this generation should take an example from, he stood out for God in his time, that’s why he was outstanding, a misfit in Babylon
He was surrounded with friends with like beliefs ones that could sharpen themselves when one was getting blunt, his friends were soled out for God they didn’t serve God based on benefits they had a personal conviction about God individually they were not just Christians because their friends are Christians that’s why they didn’t change their minds even when the fire was heated 7 times and whether God was going to let them die as roasted human beings they didn’t care
One thing that amazed me about Daniel and his friends was that they didn’t bow down to the statue and say they didn’t mean it and ask for forgiveness after they respected and had the fear of God in them. Also I learnt that God is not an unfair God that if you stand out for him he won’t disappoint you before men that’s if you are unashamed of him, if Daniel and his friends had died there wouldn’t have been any evidence that they served a God of impossibilities, but he might not keep you from the fire like he did in their case but always remember this formula of mine that God +YoU+Fire= Air Condition
Lastly Daniel lived a faultless life he was a very disciplined individual that his enemies couldn’t even find a single fault to hold him down, I got a revelation from this that this is how the devil operates he finds our faults and use them to haunt us and even accuses us before our heavenly father but we have Jesus Christ who defends and intercedes for us but how wonderful it will be if we can live a faultless, sinless life the devil will have nothing to do with us. So that’s the end of this post hope you read the book and learn for yourself more amazing and inspiring things for your life i can only write what the holy spirit showed me he has lot more for you just grab your bible.
