Tis not as
it appears

Thought His yoke
was easy
Thought His burden
was light

Yet,
Found out
I’ve been
striving

Can’t get my
understanding
from Christian
celebrities
who seek
fame and
fortune


Can’t get my
understanding
from my own
impulses which
may be impure.

Need to get it
from God
in the secret
place.

I see others
running all over
serving in places
they weren't sent
missing out
on their true
calling.

I say Lord,
send me.

I say Lord,
I am yours.

Direct my
feet to
where I shall
serve
and may I serve
those who are
loyal to You
and their
calling
and not
designer
impostors
who will be
told
"I knew you not."
