How long, O Lord, will I listen to the voices of my enemies telling me there's no God? How long, O Lord, will those voices tell me you do not care for my needs? How long, O Lord, will their voices fill me with worry and fright? How long, O Lord, will their voices confuse my ears, telling me that I never heard from you? I protest and argue my cause, telling them the Lord is with me, that He is my Rock and my Redeemer, that He shall save me from the fiery furnace, yet they mock you and play with my mind. Will you not silence these voices, O Lord, that they may no longer fill me with dread?

Lord, I long to give you the glory as I step out in faith with my family. Would You abandon us in our hour of need? If we walk in obedience to Your command, will You forget us that Your name might be shamed? Will You send us slinking back to New York in October that it might be said of You that You do not care for Your children? Are these to be the actions of our Lord and God, who zealously protects His own name? Nay, Lord, for You are faithful to every good promise You make. Make good on Your promise, O Lord, defend the cause of Your servants, and provide for our needs, that Your name might be glorified. For You, O Lord, are a good Lord.
