God always has a way of flooding my heart when I need it most. This time He used my daughter.

My 5-year-old daughter attended Vacation Bible School at a local church in my area. She loved it! I have been looking to purchase the music from the theme of the Bible School and finally found it on the internet. But at this time I did not have the funds to spend for it. So it has been put on hold. She just loved the music and I was so proud when I saw her on stage just dancing to the music.

My husband said to wait until August to purchase the music CD. So I put it on the back burner until then. Normally, being an impulsive buyer, I would have purchased it as soon as I found it. but I chose to "obey" my husband and wait.

I don't really understand what is happening to me but every time I visited this church I would cry. This time was no exception. I fought the tears as I watched her perform the dance moves with the other children. It is as though something is missing in my Christian walk and this fills the hole to see my daughter praise Jesus that way.


Today, my daughter gets a package in the mail and guess what it was! It was the very CD I wanted to purchase. The tears just flowed as I watched her perform for me the same dance she did weeks ago. I remember praying in the morning for God to speak to me in a way that I knew it was Him. Well He did just that by showing me how much He loved my daughter. He knew the desires of my heart and also the desires of her heart.


God rewarded my obedience. Thank You Lord.
Thank You Jesus!
