I can't seem to make up my mind
one minute I'm all about
being a Christian
and in the next breath
i'm baggin the idea
of going to church
after my 18th birthday
but I guess I dont have to
go to church
to be a Christian
cause that's not what
it's all about
it's more about
the way I live my life
and so far I've had
more than my share
of tough times
in my young Christian life
almost got to the point
of no return
where I was in 6th 7th and 8th grade
but now I've matured
and come to realize
going to church isn't a way to torture me
it's a place to come together
with other believers in Christ
and share in a time of fellowship and worship
it's not a place I go
to be judged and condemned
because of who I'm friends with
or not friends with
in the same insistences
looks like I made up my mind
one last time
church is where
I want to be on Sunday mornings
for the rest of my life
