Just For Today
Just for today, I see life
In a brand new light
Yesterdays Problems seem meaningless,
for spiritual wisdom improves wisdom and sight.
Just for today, I realize
Not to be consumed by my past
Life brings so many obstacles
And it comes unraveled so fast.
Just for today, I'm seeking
A more complex set of goals
I'm older, wiser and sober now
Suffocating temptations like smothered coals.
JHust for today, I'm living
Life on lifes' terms
For the worlds sin is spreading rampidly
Like contagious airborne germs.
Just for today, I'm understanding
That tomorrow may never come
We muyst liuve everday like its our last
Because yesterday is what we run from!
