I work to show my God
that I love and adore Him
it is Him that I trust with my life
but I dont know that I deserve
His love and forgiveness
just the same I do my best
to please my God,
who is my Father in Heaven
Im here to bound down before you
to ask for your forgiveness
but tell me, Father, am I deserving?
for I have a terribly sinful nature
and even though I know I'm not
perfect, that doesnt mean
no matter what I am not deserving of
or not deserving of
I will do what I can
to show you love and obedience
and be a loyally loving child to you my Father
I have love for you my God
and I won't ever let it go
