in the hands of God,
deeds great and powerful,
accomplished and performed,
God is faithful and true.

Such a small thing settled,
in the hands of God,
shaped by His word,
polished by His grace,
created by His love.

Such a small thing precious,
in the hands of God,
cleansed by blood,
established by sacrifice,
fixed by faith.

Such a small thing transformed,
in the hands of God,
constant against trials,
solid against sin,
genuine against lies.

Such a small thing shining,
in the hands of God,
reflecting goodness,
shimmering holiness,
dazzling purity.

I am such a small thing,
set in the hands of God,
beloved, treasured and cherished,
a rare, costly jewel,
to be placed in God’s crown.
