Poetry
LOOK UP!
And see Him in the vastness of the universe
and in the splendour of the stars.
See Him in the paleness of the moon
and in the brightness of the sun.
See Him in the strength of the oak tree
and in the tenacity of a snowdrop;
in the heights of a mountain
and in the shadows of a valley.
See Him in the depths of the oceans
and in the loneliness of a desert.
Hear His voice in the shout of the wind
and in the whisper of a falling snowflake.
Hear Him in the dawn chorus
and in the cry of a fox in the night time.
Hear Him in the strains of beautiful music
and in a silent prayer.
Hear Him in your heartbeat
and in the channels of your mind.
See Him on the cross.
It was not the nails that held Him there, but His love!
Hear Him - 'Father forgive them
for they know not what they do.
And - 'It is finished!
See Him in the glory of the resurrection.
Hear Him in the Hallelujahs of the Angels.
Because He is!

A beautiful inspirational poem Pauline.
I love this poem, I love the contrasts and the reminder that we need to look up. It flows beautifully.
