Children

When a child is born into this life
being unaware of the way things are
When they wake up in the morning
their are only looking for the cookie jar

They don their cloths then out to play
with no worries to crowd their minds
They rip and run and laugh with glee
and they don't even worry about the time

God uses a child in many ways
to teach us, so that we
Will always be humble, meek and mild
for he, is our father you see

A child will give with no questions asked
as if to say, it's alright
I trust you with my very life
because you have become my light

Oh what trust a child will have
in one's who fail them not
Although we take them at times for granted
but, it's good they soon forgot

Sometimes a child can see within
the good you have inside
And if it's real, time will tell
then he will know he has a good guide

When no one had any time for them
Jesus bid them that they could come
He had compassion, on their souls
and no harm we all need some
