Stanley Cup of Chowda

To be a Bruins fan, what does it entail?
The quest for Lord Stanley’s Cup, the Holy Grail?
That part is important, don’t get me wrong
To explain it easier, I wrote this song

Black and Gold, in my heart
Always there, from the start
Orr and Espo, Taz and Cam
Have always been a part of who I am

The old Gahden, the gallery Gods
Us die-hards understand, with a wink and a nod
Tight corners, small spaces
Nifty Middleton is off to the races

Spoked B on my chest
Puts my heart and mind at rest
Cheesy Cheevers, Timmy T
Stopping pucks, amazing me

I know it’s been awhile since they won it all
I can’t wait for that final curtain call
Determination and pride, poise with the puck
Will help them overcome the Vancouver Canucks

This is their year, the time has come
To end Lord Stanley’s drought
Faithful to the end, always believing
Is what being a Bruins fan is all about
