The Cross is Sufficient

The cross is sufficient
For all of my needs
Christ and Christ alone for me
It is settled, they are gone
My sins, they are all gone
Because of His shed blood on Calvary

The law it proved me guilty
My school master to Christ
It showed me of the folly of my sin
I was lost in unbelief
Could not find a sure relief
Until I put my faith and trust in Him

Then His Spirit filled my soul
I'm forgiven that I knew
Now, a child of God, thank You Lord
Just by simple faith and trusting
In HIs arms I now am resting
What a blessing to believe upon HIs Word

He arose O Hallelujah!
In Him is life eternal
Death no longer has dominion over us now
Our victory is in Jesus
What He's done our God is pleased with
He's conquered sin, He's conquered death, and hell!
