Poetry
Evolving from places deep and internal,
As we blindly tread our life's journey on,
Destinations to places we have not known.
One's faith can be so frighteningly fragile,
How lightening fast our fears do travel,
Minds overcome our grief weary souls,
Hearts pay the gruesome, costly tolls.
A spirit's irreconcilable true belief,
Brings joy to life or heartless grief,
A soul will cry or perhaps rejoice,
The glorious truth, or a bitter choice.
We are what we feel in our own hearts,
What does thrive in our deepest parts,
Our inner core will only believe,
That of which our minds perceive.
Without faith works are certainly dead,
When all is done and everything said,
Believers of nothing will come to dwell,
In spaces of their own mistrusting hell.
