“If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither.” Psalm 137:5

24x7 is the most iconic, heartening, boosting, available and round the clock sign that we all like to see. Hospitals have 24 hours emergency services which reassures the sick people of continuous medical facilities at any time of the day and night. In today’s world, social networking groups like Facebook & Twitter seem to reign in all glory with people literally addicted online 24x7 to such sites. Even when they are not really online, they apparently seem to be online as they are logged in 24x7 which somehow validates their presence to friends.

Apart from all these, the most popular and divine activity which takes place 24x7 in the very realms of heaven is the Seraphim, Cherubim & the Four Living Creatures, all powerful heavenly beings before the throne of God. While the Seraphim flies above God’s throne, the Cherubim remains around it, constantly singing in unceasing chorus of praise to the Lamb seated on the throne. "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory."

The Seraphim which is the highest rank of angel is known as “ones of love” because of its proximity to God and admittedly, love is the only thing that can remain fresh and imperishable 24x7, the closeness unseen in any other virtue, a word that can be untiringly spoken about and sung of. It is the most important feeling that we would like to have throughout our lives in a continuous cycle of love. To think love, feel love, breathe love and dream love in a never forgetting remembrance of love.

St. Paul has strongly advised us to praise God, pray to God and thank God without ceasing. St. Joseph whose feast we celebrate today waited on Jesus as a foster father 24x7 taking care of him and it was a great joy to have God himself with him. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us 24x7 along with His Mother who is in continuous prayer for her children on earth.

God continually loved Zion; his beloved Jerusalem in a passionate love promising never to forget his dwelling place. It was His holy mountain, marked apart. His First Love. We read in Ezekiel 16: 8; “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,”

One day, we all will be gathered about the Holy Throne to bow before the Lamb who took our place and to sing His praises for all eternity and we look forward to this radiant coming to be spent with our beloved Lord in 24x7 love time.
