Trust me you are lovely
And if I can’t say it
I will speak it from every mouth I can find

Trust me you are loved
I wrote it on the sky
And I'll write it over your scars
In permanent ink

I nailed a dove to an olive branch
To say ‘I promise I forgive you
For everything you’ll ever do’

And I will drown all your sins in my sea
As we walk upon the shore
Hand-in-hand

So if you can’t forget
Then I'll do it for you
