An unloving person does not know God.

It's that simple. Enough said.

The sad part is how many “Christians” do we encounter in Church that fit this description?

I recently read an article in a Christian magazine about church hoppers. A pastor complained too many people move from church to church.

Boy did that set off a firestorm in replies.

One of the major reasons people move from one church to another is that the members of the church are cold to newcomers.

I wonder if they have the love of God in their hearts?

Unfortunately where I live there is no suitable church to attend but when I did attend one I always made newcomers feel welcome.

That is why when there is a new student in my class I always go out of my way to make the whole class and myself make the student feel welcome.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness Galatians 5:22 New International Version

Why don’t you make an effort during a church meeting to welcome newcomers? I personally have experienced this many times.

Prayer: Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) please open my eyes to welcome others as You have welcomed me. I ask in the name of He who knocked at the door of my heart Jesus Christ. Amen.
