Purpose and Timing

Everyone was born into purpose. No one is meant to just occupy space here on earth. And everyone’s purpose is needful, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
As important as your purpose is, so it is with its timing.
Timing is everything; because if you miss the right time, everything is in a mess.

Even when you have the clear picture of how to go about your life’s purpose but you don’t have any knowledge about the seasons and times it should unfold; it’s more likely that you’d mess it all up.

As the Bible says; there is a time for everything. God has an appointed time for everything. We all know the seasons, when they occur and what kind of fruits that bear at such times. It is common knowledge that a fruit eaten before its time is sour; and when you wait too long after it has ripened, it becomes useless because it would have gotten rotten. A fruit is at its best when it’s ripe just right. Indeed, God does everything beautiful in its time.

So is it with your purpose. If you rush to achieve it before time, you’ll find yourself struggling a lot; putting in too much effort but reaping just a little. And when you start too late, you’ll suffer because the grace available to live out your purpose would have expired.

Let’s pray that God gives us an understanding mind and a discerning heart to perceive the times and seasons so we don’t miss out on the favor and grace that awaits us to do what we need to do on this earth.

Remember God’s purpose for you has a time-frame. Don’t sit around thinking you have eternity to fulfill it because someone else may be assigned your role if you don’t take action.
