It can happen and it does happen. It may be the worst non-death case scenario that one could ever hope to not experience.

People are often careless about their cell phone settings and at the time they would not prefer, it can auto-dial the person or persons whom they most do not want to hear what you are saying.

Several years ago three of my siblings, two sisters and one brother, were in Illinois. They were in a restaurant eating lunch, I was not there, I was on the East Coast, but I heard their conversation and it was about ME. It wasn't terrible, but I am certain that they would have preferred that I was not privy to the conversation.

Recently I had a job answering phones in a Call Center, I cannot tell you how many secrets I have heard including a drug dealer selling his street "pharmaceuticals."

Today I read about a truck driver who was running drugs on his truck route, his phone dialed 911 while he was talking about his illegal financial enterprise. The Police were soon by his side.

It is a breath-taking thought to consider that when we are on the phone, in "private conversation," our darkest secrets may be heard.

The real truth is that everything we say is always heard! We don't need our phone to pocket dial before all that we say can be known.

Jesus warned us to be careful what we say, "Because a bird of the air will pick it up and carry it," He said. There are Beings, both good ones and bad ones all around us who hear what we say.

The Bible tells us that God hears every word we say, and further than that, He knows it before we speak it.

Jesus warned us to be careful of our words because they have power to create or to destroy.

Conversely, it is a comfort to know that if we are in need of assistance for any problem that we can be assured that we are heard by God and His Angels.

God created for us a good world, one that is filled with provision. It is only when we misuse the provisions and disobey His instructions that we get ourselves into trouble; then we nearly always accuse God of the poor outcome.

Carefully watch over what you say, you will live with your words; they form many of the events and outcomes of your life.

The Bible tells us that by our own words we are condemned or justified.

It is also the reason that we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, while believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead; and this dual act provides us with salvation to Heaven and relationship with Jesus here and now.

We cannot escape being heard by the Beings that are around us and also by God, but while here on earth, it may be a good idea to be certain the cell phone is off.
