Spirit, don’t pass me by
Jesus, it’s in you that I find life.
Cast me not away from thy presence
Please don’t take your spirit from me.
Lead me into your merciful arms
That I might experience your grace.
My spirit is groaning for you
Can you hear my hearts call?
I am languishing Lord, my soul thirsts
The deep of the night shows no signs
When is my dawn?
Call Upon the name of the Lord and be Saved.
Lord I am perishing, hearken to my call
Sweet anointing I need but a touch
Restore me to my righteous and good standing
Lord why do you shun me?
Holy Spirit rain down on me, I am languishing.
The dawning of a new day brings no relief
My soul is sick and I can find no remedy

THE BREAKING OF THE DAWN
Those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength.
They rise up on wings like eagles and renew their strength.
Your spirit brings me much liberty and I am hidden under your wings.
The spirit is breathing life into these dry bones and the awakening brings with it
New life, new hope and long-searched for respite. It is in you that I find life.
You are my heart’s keeper, you hold the key and without you I would perish.
The revelation no longer tarries but erupts through the darkness like a
Consuming fire which burns deep into the night.
You raise me up to stand on your shoulders and Mount Horeb retreats in the distance.
My Lily of the valley, my bright and morning star,
It is you alone who awakens true and lasting hope.
Hold me in the midnight hour and may your angels encamp around me.
I am seated at your feet, waiting for your sweet whispers and affirmations,
I lean on you in all my reasoning, my Alpha and omega.
The dawn has broken, the walls have crumbled and the nightwatch
Can return to his fields. The land is flowing with milk and honey and the children rejoice,
As the bride is reunited with her bridegroom and sings a song so sweetly spiced with
Anointing. The bride is made complete in her status as beloved, ransomed and cherished
One of the Bridegroom. Her adorns her with the finest of gifts and lays out a feast.
She shines brightly beside him and reflects his radiant love as her eyes fill
With long lost vitality and mirth. She has at last come home and all of heaven rejoices.
The Father sits at his throne as he basks in their contagious love and merriment-
Indulgent, awesome and doting in his splendour. The bridegroom has been returned
From whence she came-Hosanna to the king and crown him Lord of Lords.
