Harvest time
Blonde heads of grain swaying
Ready to be taken in
A young widow from a foreign land
Taken in by a redeeming man
Given a home with lasting hope
Restoration marriage at harvest time

Harvest time
People from many lands gathered in Jerusalem
Searching to know Yahweh
Disciples mourning their bridegroom
Then he sends his Spirit in many tongues
An engagement ring, saying
“I will return, but first work in my
Harvest field til all people have come”
Redemption engagement at harvest time

Harvest time
Every tribe and tongue around his throne
Their bridegroom is coming!
But first the harvest of the earth
The bride is redeemed and evil is revenged
The bride is given a home with eternal hope
Restoration marriage at harvest time
