Jesus, some days I just feel like crying,
When the flame in me flickers to dying,
Darkness surrounds me; I cry out to you,
You rush to me the whole day through.

Your warmth envelopes like a southern wind,
You let me cry to my heart's content,
And whisper words of small consolations,
Revivng my spirit revives from its desolation.

Dear Jesus, hold me till the aching relieves,
My soul from the sadness it now believes,
Send in you finest angels to sing,
Songs of the glory your love brings.

Weariness leaves me and strength does grow,
Inside where you live and love me so,
Energy springs from hope eternally,
Renewing my soul for eternity.
