What is it that you fear or dread,
What makes you lose your sleep,
Is not the Father watching you,
Won't He His promise keep?

Whatever you need He will supply,
He loves you, you're his own;
And all who rest within his care
Are never left alone.

So like the lovely lily
Which with beauty He has dressed;
Receive His wondrous mercy,
With His lovely grace be blessed.

And do not worry, do not fret,
There's nothing that can harm;
Let this day bring you joy and peace,
God holds you in His arms.
