Calling for Dr. Jesus"
there is a need to be filled
Not only mines but there are others
and you have the best of pills

Little Jonney has need of his dad
it's been a while since he last saw him
He needs a dose of arms, filled with love
to brighten his heart that's grown dim

Lord this little heart has long been sad
and this will work for this little boy
Hope this order is not, too big to fill
for it's better than any kind of toy

There are those who cried all night
asking what am I going to do
Had nowhere to turn, and need your service
can you give comfort to help them through

Even if it's a healing for the body
we do what the scriptures does say
Take it in our mouths and swallow it down
then watch it work for us that day

And your forgiveness, that's not too hard
all we have to do but ask
You are a heart fixer, through and through
and for you, it's an easy task

Lord your case load, is getting bigger
each day someone's in need
But your never too busy to take them all
and will, their cries you'll heed

Your appointment book will never be empty
and calls, there will be many more
But you can take them, around the clock
a doctor who never closes his door

See it doesn't matter how long we've had it
he has the cure and without a doubt
And we only need, is his word
to mend what the problems is about

Doctor Jesus, the great physician
healer of the mind, body and soul
Just one touch from his hands
that will make us completly whole

But yet he has need of some aides
you and I that he did lift
And the jobs are open for us to take
for there is a need on every shift
