God’s Christmas Tree is not decorated.
There is no lights or ornaments on it.
There are no presents underneath it.
His gifts are imperishable.
Untouched by death; unstained by evil.

If men will do these things when the Tree is green,
What will they do when the tree is dry.
A shoot will come up from the stump.
From His roots a branch will bear fruit.
Jesus is the Righteous Branch of the Lord.

If you knew this Gift of God
And who it is that offers it,
You would ask to receive this Gift.
The Gift of living water that saves.
The water that will make you thirst no more.

If I have to pay a price for this Gift,
Grace is not grace and free is not free.
Salvation in Christ is the free Gift of God.
It was not cheap by any means.
It came with a very great price.

We receive this Gift by faith.
We are justified by it.
We are reconciled through it.
We have Hope when we have it.
We are joyous when He gives it.

The troubles of this world
Are not the failures of the government,
Are not our failing economy,
Are not our failing educational system.
We are at enmity with our creator.

The gifts under God’s Christmas Tree
Is Salvation…living by faith in Jesus,
Is Deliverance… that Christ died for us,
Is Hope…confidence we will share in His glory,
Is Truth…there is no other way to the Father.

The Spirit and the Bride say, Come!
Let anyone who hears say, Come!
The one who is thirsty, Come!
Whoever wishes the water of life without cost,
Come…God’s Gift was on the Tree; not under it!
