Why Me

Man born of a woman
Is of very few days.
Full of troubles he will see.
Some suffer more than others.
We don’t always know why me!

Some suffer from their own sin.
Some suffer from Satan’s lies.
Some suffer from where others have been.
All suffer from Adam again.
Pain, suffering, hardship, and death.

We will suffer as Christ did suffer.
Don’t ever lose faith in Him.
Don’t doubt His goodness.
Don’t blame the God who loves you.
Curse Him and die in your sin.

It is good for us that we suffer.
As gold is purified by fire,
As the Sun melts a block of ice,
As it hardens a block of clay.
We are made better when we endure the pain.

Trials point the way to Him
They teach us to trust only Him.
They show us our need for Him.
We can endure every trial with Him.
No trial can separate us from Him.

Don’t justify your own desires.
Don’t believe in the Devil’s lies.
Don’t look for excuses to sin.
Look for the way of escape.
It is always found in Him.

God is our refuge and our strength.
If we merely endure without giving in,
We would only be conquerors over our sin.
Because it makes us better,
We are more than conquerors in Him.

Trials show His wisdom, power, and faithfulness.
Is anyone suffering “let him pray”.
Let your requests be known to Him.
Give thanx and give Him praise.
Worship His Holy Name!

He didn’t promise to remove all your pain.
He did promise to help you remain.
And in the end stay faithful to Him.
The man who endures is blessed.
The crown of life will he attain.

Rejoice and be glad when you suffer.
Don’t just gripe and complain.
It will be for our good that it came.
When our strength comes from Him,
Why me is found to be gain.
