Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
ISAIAH 51:1-2.

Is this still relevant. Yes.
We are not our country.

Abraham was not of his father's country. Yet, he became a father to many countries.

The line which God created through Abraham leads through Israel, David, and Jesus. There were other earthly lines.

Teleological lines which are healthy and functioning today will continue and, they will be perceived as being teleological post-facto by their descendants.

Dysteleological lines which are unhealthy and dysfunctional today will either die-off or, both contaminate & graft themselves unto some of the healthier but unfortunately heedless teleological lines (which lack competent leadership).

Health choices are made: in the family; with one's assets, investments and businesses; through our counties, states, and nations. We can choose to be healthy. We can also choose to stop supporting the unhealthy.

We can be healthy even as others are unhealthy.
Our families can be healthy even as other families fail.
Our assets, investments, and businesses can be healthy.
Our counties can be healthy as other counties fail.
Our states can be healthy while our nation fails.

Our nation can keep failing. Many of our fellow beings can fail. We do not need to fail to keep them company. We do not need to fail so they feel better about themselves. We can let them fail. We can mind our own business, our own families, our own states, counties, etc.

Again. Memorize it. Take it. ISAIAH 51:1-2.
