Words to wage a wondrous adventure,
   almost a contract; an artistic indenture.
Just take some syllables, and I'm away from here;
   with my heart and mind in tact, I'm bringing back some cheer.

This is how it is; I know with whom I'm sharing;
   there's enough for all of us; it's with you I'm caring.
This is the art of flying; wings of words to leave you sighing;
   take a thought and spread it out; all of us are daring.

Push my heart upon the page, I always surprise myself;
   it's just my Muse and little me; not much more for help.
We fly off in imagination just to see what may;
   we come back to share with you; play it as it lays.

Now it's time for you to fly; challenge me and make me sigh;
   bring me reason with the rhyme, and your passionate “why.”
Let your Muse sing to you, she always sings a newer song;
   let her take to your blue; if I could I'd come along.
