Encouragement

In a review of the life of Johan Kepler I noticed that at least one of his three laws of planetary movement seem to apply in the spiritual realm. As a planet draws closer to the sun it accelerates its movement, the third law seems to say. Applied to the Son at the center of our spiritual world, as we draw near (and I don't mean generally) but as we approach him (coming boldly before the throne of grace through the access of His shed blood) in a specific event at a particular time we are speeding certain things up that might otherwise take a lot longer to happen. These can be things, events, realities, even circumstances for which we have longed, the desires of our hearts that may seem to have been withheld. We aren't approaching the Son for that reason necessarily, consciously trying to make a certain thing happen when it does in fact happen, but good things do in fact happen , and it has so much to do with a consistent habitual approaching of the Son. And we don't have to try to prove it empirically. We know that we know when we know.
