Students of Biblical prophecies describing the future military and governmental leader the Bible labels as the Antichrist, have for centuries asked many questions. For example, how will the future Antichrist, based in Europe, the head of many European nations, seize power over other nations, and what will motivate him to do so? Why will the Antichrist try to change the set times and the laws? “He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws.” (Daniel 7: 25) What times and what laws will the Antichrist seek to change? Why will he want to alter the calendar? What religion will the Antichrist demand that the people of the world follow and who will they be forced to worship? Why will the Antichrist decapitate Christians and Jews? Until these times we didn’t have a clue what those two prophecies meant, as we could only guess. Now, however, they make perfect sense. Jihadists’ words and their current day deeds fit into these Biblical prophecies like fingers in a glove. Later, in this Chapter we’ll examine why a Muslim Antichrist will want to change the laws and the times. The Bible also affirms that, in the end times, God’s people will be martyred by beheading. “And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.”  ( Revelation 20: 4) In the past, writers on this subject have conjectured that the Antichrist might possibly bring back the French guillotine in town squares across the globe to kill those who refuse to worship him. That was an educated guess, but as today’s events unfold, and as we see the true identity of the Antichrist, as a dedicated Muslim, fulfilling not only Biblical, but also Muslim prophecies, the method of martyring God’s people by beheading them makes perfect sense. Who kills people in the world today by severing their heads from their bodies? The French? Of course not. The guillotine is a museum exhibit. Any western nation? No, much too barbaric. Any third world nations? Yes, actually, depending upon the nation. CBS News reported in 2004 that Saudi Arabia recently beheaded 52 men and one woman for various crimes, including murder, homosexuality, armed robbery, and drug trafficking. The CBS Report revealed that “A condemned convict is brought into the courtyard, hands tied, and forced to bow before an executioner, who swings a huge sword amid cries from onlookers of ‘Allahu Akbar!’ Arabic for ‘God is Great.”
