A Light that doesn't Shine

It’s night. The earth is dark. There’s no light seen in the night sky except an essence named the moon that reflects the glory of the hidden sun.
But it’s still night. The earth lies covered in darkness. Men lie shadowed by clouds of deception. No light is shining to bring them life by the opening of their eyes. Because no light is shining, the world lies dark and men continue to die.

There will be a day when the Son arises on the horizon, soon shining His light into the hearts of all mankind and bringing them life! But until that day the bride in its place has a duty to fulfill: to reflect the light of the Son. In this way men might see in the night and find the way to life.

It’s dark though. Men cannot see where they’re going; they can’t find the right path to take that leads them away from the gates of death; they are confused, blinded by the shadows, unaware of their filthy rags, wandering the earth with no purpose or reason but to exist to fulfill their appetites’ raging passions.

Oh, if only the bride would shine there would be light! If only the bride would shine men might have life! If only the bride would shine men could see clearly, the darkness would flee, and truth would be revealed! Oh, if only the bride would shine in the night sky!

But she has ceased to shine. She is no longer white. She is darkened and stained and unable to reflect the light that shines upon her face.
She can’t shine and reflect the suns light if she’s not white.
Men are dying because we’re not fulfilling our duty.
The lost are dying because we have become like them. We have loved the world and its pleasures more than the Son and His splendor. Thus our light is tainted, our light is dim; darkness creeps within our frame, hindering the light of Christ from shining within. And the world dies because the light has ceased to shine, due to a wayward bride who has loved the world’s wine.

Bride it’s time to arise, cleanse our hands, purify our hearts, choose one path, and let His light shine through our life.
