Ephesians 6: 10 – 18

Be strong, in the Lord and in the power of His might;

dress yourself in the armor of God so that you may win the fight.

We don’t contend with those of flesh and blood;

it’s the rulers of the darkness that come in like a flood.

Therefore, dress yourself with protection that is proper,

the whole armor of God is a devil stopper!

The battle may be fierce, but dressed in God’s armor you will not fall,

nor can you be pierced. So STAND, with TRUTH wrapped about your loins

and with the BREAST PLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS to your torso joined.

Your feet must be securely shod with preparedness

of the Gospel of the peace of God.

Along with these things don’t let this fact escape

you must constantly carry the Shield of Faith;

with it you shall stop the enemy’s attacks and will his darts escape.

Also recall, there is no armor for your back,

nothing, nothing, not even a back pack.

Wear the Helmet of Salvation, do not grow weary,

and be certain that the Spirit’s Sword you continually carry.

Praying, not simply pray, pray-ing at all times for the saints and for me,

that we and you, in the strength of God, may win the VICTORY!
