The last couple of weeks, I have been really praying to God, about my everyday life. I am so blessed, it is amazing. I do tend to have blah days too. I thought I would share with you my prayer and thoughts of what God reminded me of.

While I was praying, I was telling the Lord how blessed I was and thanking Him for everything. Then my prayer kind of started going like this, "Lord, I feel like my days are the same, over and over. I get up, go to work, get home at 7:30pm. I have 1 1/2hrs until Jessie is ready for bed. I don't feel like I am doing anything for you Lord. There is no time to go anywhere. It's just work, work, work. I am thankful for my job. I just want so badly to make a difference in people's lives and I'm just sitting still."

Well, about that time, I hear my spirit saying, "It's not about you, Kim". I know that deep down. The name of my blog is, It's all about God. If you look at how many time I wrote "I" in the last paragraph, you can tell I needed reminded of that.

The Lord reminded me of all the things that can come out of an ordinary day.

Praise - Oh how He takes joy in our praise. This is a big one. This makes Him so happy.

My Words - They can bring someone up or they can tear someone down.

My Attitude - Shows my outlook on life. If I have the joy of the Lord and know, that He will take care of me, then my attitude should be a positive one, effecting others.

My Character - How I act when things are not going so good. If someone angers me, will I respond with the love of Jesus?

Acts of Kindness - Going above and beyond what I need to, so I can do something special, for someone who might need to see God's love at work.

Encouragement & Compassion - There are so many hurting people that we know. A simple txt, call or card can lift someone spirits and we may never know the impact it can make on a life.

Prayer - This is a big one too. When there is nothing else I can do, I can pray. Prayers are effective. It changes more than we could ever imagine. Prayer, Praise and sharing the gospel is what we are here for.

There are more. These are a few of things that I can make a difference for the Lord, regardless of my day. So little effort can change someone's heart. It can show someone, that God is using someone else, to be His hands of love. I don't have to be in full time ministry to make a difference. The little things, can do great things, in God's sight. So just thought I would share! If you have blah days, maybe it will make you feel better.
