I love the Christ of Calvary, it's His wondrous redemption plan
I love the Christ of Calvary, for He pardoned all my sin
I love the Christ of Calvary, as He gave me peace within
I Love the Christ of Calvary, his love sweetly saved my soul
I love the Christ of Calvary, it was he who made me whole

Do you love the Christ of Calvary, the one who died for man
Do you love the Christ of Calvary, the one who gave Salvations plan
Do you love the Christ of Calvary, His free grace He did bestow
Do you love the Christ of Calvary, for you His blood did flow
Do you love the Christ of Calvary, by faith He'll set you free
Do you love the Christ of Calvary, to His word just simply agree

Why do you love the Lord? One need only to remember that terrific pictorial Hollywood produced film entitled, "The Passion of the Christ", to gain an understanding why we Christians, should love the Lord.

So, why do you love your Lord.
Is it to extend your fame ?
Is it to join the old game ?
Is it to play for political gain ?
Is it a big ego trip to claim ?
Is it just motivational acclaim ?
Is it for others to put to shame ?
Is it for a evil sin soul to tame ?
Is it a changed life for to aim ?
Is it the free gospel to proclaim ?


For you see, in real life approx 2000 years ago, our Lord voluntarily gave up His life to redeem mankind from the dreaded cursed of sin that was enacted in the Garden of Eden. ( Genesis 3: 6-7 ) ( Romans 5:12 ) ( Romans 5:19 )

No, it was simply because of that cruel cross on Calvary, that we love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He paid for our sins once and for all. ( 1 John 4:19 ) ( John 3:16 )

And, one need only accept this gesture of God's grace, by faith, to become a child of God. You see, you can never work enough, give enough money or have enough friends, to get you saved. ( Ephesians 2:8-9 )
