As I rejoice greatly in our Almighty Lord,
His care for me flourishes, life restored;
I was careful but just lacked opportunity,
For speaking respect with no sincerity;
Now I have learned for my heart to speak,
To have peace and contentment to seek;
I know how to be abased and to abound,
As all my praises to the Lord will resound;
For I shall be both hungry as well as full,
Also to be suffer needs and be bountiful;
For through Christ I can do everything,
And knowing without Him I am nothing.
Jesus Christ is truly everything to me.
It is my future that He holds the key;
Giving such a new hope on this life,
To ease the burdens and rid of strife;
With an everlasting future that is clear,
As long as motives are truly sincere;
Forever to be faithful forever be true,
No matter what He will see me through.
