You know how you tend to 'pick up' on the tail end of a conversation?
This happened to me recently.

We had overseas relatives staying with us and I have my brother living here, in Perth, W.A.
My brother and his wife invited us all to their home for dinner.

My brother is an actor/director/playwright/teacher.

The evening was a huge success! Dinner was really lovely and at one point I went to the kitchen to replace the dishes from the dining table.

Upon my return, I heard my brother speaking to my In-laws.He said; 'I tell my students this is artificial intelligence'.

I reply; 'What? Acting?'

A look of horror crossed my brother's face.
'No, Vera' he said. I was talking about mobile phones, text messages'!

If only the ground had opened up and swallowed me at that moment,I would have been a happy woman! Hee/Hee.
