Conversation can be shallow,
Point and blank,
Tearing or uplifting to those
Who love and share.
Trust and care,
Tumble and tear,
To those we love and endure.
So take not to heart,
Words that are thrust,
Point blank into those we love.
Cast off the hurt,
Words splattered and blurt.
Into hearts that dare
Not be tender.
Let love prevail,
And trust entail,
Companions who in the end,
Will never truly fail us.
