Psalms 139:1-4 "O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I'm far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord."

17-18 "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!"

Our parents are the ones who have been in our life the longest. They know so much about us because they raised us. Yet, they don't know everything about us. They may know our likes and dislikes, but they don't not know our every thought like God does. Our parents may know how we talk but they don't hear every word that comes out our mouths like God does. People may know us by name but God knows us by name & heart. God is the only one that knows us completely. God can tell us things that we may not even know about ourselves.
To know that God is always with me brings comfort and security to my heart. As Christians, we can become thoughtless of the truth that God is near. To the genuine Christian, such thought is overwhelming. To the unfaithful, such thought is an overwhelming fear and shame because of there wrong doing in the eyes of God.
No one waits for us to go to sleep. No one waits for us as we rise. God is the only one that does. Our parents or spouse may have done so, but maybe they forgot a few times. However, God has never failed in his love for us. The fact that God is always around is proof of his love. Even his thoughts about us are greater than our thoughts about ourselves. There have been times when we have thought wrong of ourselves or maybe others have thought wrong about us. God doesn't and he hasn't. He thinks of us like no one else does. How beautiful we are. How we are full with potential. He looks through the lens of his love. Many have there own lens, but God is perfect in every way.
maybe you haven't been thankful lately. Well, you can sure thank God for always being there and for creating you. That alone, will bring a smile to God that every Angel in the heavens will see
