WHILE LISTENING TO A SONG TODAY
ABOUT GOD...AND HIS MERCIFUL WAYS
MY HEART WAS TOUCHED...TEARS FILLED MY EYES
THEN I RAISED MY HANDS IN PRAISE
IT MADE ME REALIZE...HOW GREAT GOD IS
LOVING, COMPASSIONATE AND KIND
AND A HUNGER FOR HIM ...FLOODED MY HEART
WHERE BEFORE ...I ONLY KNEW HIM IN MY MIND
TO KNOW HIM ...IS TO LOVE HIM
WE DO THAT BY READING HIS WORD
THOSE LYRICS IN THE SONG BEING SUNG
WERE THE PRETTIEST I'VE EVER HEARD
SINGING...THERE WAS NO OTHER LIKE HIM
NOR COULD THERE EVER BE
A GOD SO CARING AND FAITHFUL
WHO WATCHES OVER...YOU AND ME
AS I WIPED AWAY MY TEARS
THANKFUL FOR THAT SONG, SO TRUE
I INVITED JESUS INTO MY HEART, RIGHT THEN
TO HELP ME START MY LIFE...ANEW!
