You have tried and tried but failed to find real happiness in the things that will soon pass away.
But you'll never find sweet peace or be wonderfully blest until all on the alter you lay.
Have you tried the Lord
Earthly friends will not prove true, in time of great need and fail when on them you depend.
You can find a friend in Christ who will be a friend indeed He will stay by your side to the end.
Have you tried the Lord
You may seek to find relief from toils and cares of life, With the things that will not satisfy.
They will only bring you grief in a world full of strife, So why not seek a home on high.
Have you tried the Lord

You say you've tried it all, to get that everlasting peace. And the peace never came. Well, have you tried God's plan. What, never heard of God's plan for your life. It's so simple, to you it may not seem real. It is all based of two words, Grace and Faith. ( Ephesians 2:8-9 )

First, let us look at " faith". You see, faith comes from responding to God's love. ( Romans 10:17 ) And faith is simply being sure of what you ask for, even though you cannot see the results. ( Hebrews 11:1 ) Just believe, when you come to Christ, that He will answer your prayer of faith and except you into His eternal kingdom. ( John 3:16-17 )

Now, what about God's free grace. You see, the entire salvation thing is built around that " free grace". For we are not good enough, on our own. We cannot buy or way in. And family or friends cannot take us in with them. ( Ephesians 2:8-9 )

What have you got to lose ? Why not try the Lord, before it's too late. You see, we all are just one heartbeat away from either "Heaven" or "Hell". Just put your hand over your heart. Do you feel that constant beat ? If that beat stops, where will you be?

Oh, you say you don't believe in heaven or hell. Do you actually believe that you are so powerful, that you can change God's universal plan for mankind ? Can you stop the rain ? Can you stop the wind ? And most important, can you stop death ? Yes, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose. ( Hebrews 9:27 ) ( Romans 6:23 )( Genesis 2:16-17 ) ( Romans 5:12 ) ( 2 Cor 5:14 ) ( 1 John 5: 11-12 ) ( 2 Timothy 1:10 ) ( 1 Timothy 4:10 )
