(A Perpetual Memoriam)


Ashley, there is love in our sorrows; there is love in our tears.
Almighty God, give us the courage and strength, through the coming years
To hold onto yesterday’s memories of our beautiful daughter and sister, so that all may know
The love in our hearts and the love from our souls.

When Ashley came and was near, she brought unspeakable happiness.
When Ashley came and was near, she brought unimaginable sweetness.
When Ashley came and was near, she brought daily joy.
When Ashley came and was near, she brought daily smiles.

Those who look upon us every day, we want to cry. And when we shed a tear
It is for our Ashley who is no longer near.
Just know we do so because a lovely, beautiful person for all time
Was cruelly and viciously stolen from us…but in time we’ll be fine.

Almighty Father, when we get to heaven and see our Ashley with a crown on her head
Standing before Jesus, Your only Begotten Son,
We’ll have no further need for these tears or memories…
For we will all be together in happiness for all eternity.
But for now just to think about that beautiful and glorious day with our Ashley
Makes us all want to cry!

NOTE: Ashley was a victim of then succumbed to cyber bullying on September 2, 2012. A
mentally challenged young woman, Ashley could not understand or explain to her
family what was happening to her. The extend of the bullying is unknown at this time.
Federal and the State of Oklahoma investigative agencies are investigating Ashley’s
case. In the meantime, her family and the small community of Dale, Oklahoma mourn
this devastating loss of an absolutely beautiful person who brought nothing but
happiness and joy to those who loved and knew her. I request the prayers of all
