The generation now growing up could very well be in for some dramatic changes in the world scene. It won't be "business as usual", in the economic, political, and religious arenas. I am referring to Bible prophecy and end time events. Even though no person can know the exact time, it is possible to identify the general time frame, by how current events are lining up with what the Bible teaches.

Do the young people in this next generation really know where things are headed? Some of you reading this are Christians; others may not be. Regardless, you must keep yourself intellectually informed and spiritually strong. Whether or not you believe the Bible or follow prophecy, that doesn't change anything.

I remember hearing prophecy expert Hal Lindsay speak at a Campus Crusade for Christ gathering in 1967, when he boldly proclaimed that Christ could come in my generation. Well, I am now 63 years old. The things I am going to talk about could still happen in my life, but if they do not, it means they are even more likely to occur in the current new generation.

It is quite possible that they will bear the brunt of the fulfillment of end time prophecy. We, therefore, need a lot of very well informed and strong Christian young people who know what they believe without compromise. Many local churches hardly ever mention Bible prophecy, so it is up to them to keep informed. If you are a young person reading this and you are not a Christian, here is what you could expect.

Is it becoming increasingly obvious to you that world events are leading up to a one-world government? This will include the anti-christ and 666. The anti-christ will be Satan manifested in human flesh! No matter how much money you have you will not be able to escape. You will not be able to buy your way out of it, because no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark. Whatever form the "mark" is pales in comparison to what it will represent. It means there will be no more playing religion. A person's eternal destiny will be determined by whether or not they give allegiance to Jesus Christ.

You may experience the Tribulation Period, a time of severe plaques upon the earth. Read Revelation 16 to see a list. The world is already beginning to see some of this activity. Also refer to Matthew 24 and take notice of what it says about the increase in the intensity and frequency of earthquakes, and nations rising against nations, which we are witnessing in the present time.

Alliances are already being formed, including Russia, against the nation Israel, which is going to result in the bloodiest war of all time.

At some point in time you will also witness the supernatural evacuation of all the true believers in Christ, from the earth. People who have refused to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ will be left behind! Your decision will then be, if you have survived the Tribulation, to either deny Christ and be allowed to live but forever lost in the eternity of Satan's domain, or to give allegiance to Christ and live with him forever, but you could be beheaded for that decision. This will also be a time of great evangelism with the appearance of the two witnesses, which many people believe will be Moses and Elijah returning in human flesh, as well as 144,000 Jewish missionaries.

You could also experience the beginning of the 1000 year reign of Christ upon the earth.

The world is not going to end, but the world's system as we know it will come to a halt. There is, however, hope for those who put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you do, I can't tell you to what degree you will be spared from the things I have mentioned. There is much debate about that. I can confidently assure you, though, that your eternal destiny will be in the presence of Christ.
